I’m back today with another Finds and Fashions! I decided to post another one like last week, but this time I used beige or tan as my base color. Beige does not have to be boring!!
My first beige piece is the cropped pants. I love these pants! They are just the right color of beige, they go with a lot of different tops and they are comfortable! I added a white sleeveless top with silver jewels at the neckline and then a coral and beige jacket over the top. The beige purse also has silver jewels. I finished it off with white sparkly sandals and silver hoop earrings.
*About the pup…she chooses to sit there! Every time I put an outfit down on the floor, she would come over and sit right next to it. Maybe she will be the next Top Model!!!*
I love this jacket!! Take a look at the close-up! There are dogs on it!! I found this at Goodwill last year and of course, I couldn’t pass it up! It’s probably more fitting for fall, but I did just wear this outfit last week since it was still a little chilly. I layered it over a cream tank top and teal pants, though they look more blue in the picture. I added a multi-colored scarf, turquoise and beige sandals, a turquoise bracelet and silver earrings. Just the dogs on the jacket are included this time. 🙂
I bought this kimono style floral jacket from GroopDeals.com ( I am not affiliated with Groopdeals, just enjoy shopping with them.). As soon as I saw it, I loved it! I paired it with a bright royal blue tank and white jeans. A pearl bracelet, white earrings and blue sandals finish it off. I wore this for our school’s open-house a couple of weeks ago and it was very comfortable.

Hello! And welcome to another edition of Fabulous Finds and Fashions. I don’t have anything fashion worthy, but I do have a fabulous find!
I got a new car!
I have been saying for a while now that I wanted a new car (or a used car, but new to me). I had a 2003 Hyundai Sonata that was getting to the end of the road. It still ran and it was a good ride, but I was getting tired of getting out of the car.
I know, this sounds like a very odd reason to not want a car. But when you are 5 foot 10 and have to crouch to get into the car, it gets tiring after a while.
So I wanted a car that was taller and I wanted something newer, like 2010 or newer. And the car I was looking at was the Kia Soul. I thought that they were absolutely adorable and they were the perfect size for me. They were taller than my Sonata and had a lot of space to carry my stuff in.
So much trunk space!
And by stuff I mean my coworkers when we go to lunch.
The search was on to find a new car. 2 weeks ago, I had the day off from work and I was in town with my family. Haley and I went on the lookout to find me a car! But…it didn’t go so well.
We went to a car lot where we know the owner. They had a 2012 Chevy Equinox which is the car my grandparents drive. We took it for a test drive and it was really nice. But, it wasn’t my favorite. It felt a little too big for me compared to my Sonata.
So we passed on that one.
And then we went to the car lot that mom and dad bought their Dodge Journey from. And they had a 2012 Nissan Cube. And it was adorable! Haley and I looked at it for quite a while. And even when she had me look at a different car, I always went back to the Cube.
So this past Saturday, mom, dad, and I went to look more in depth into the Cube. We got in the car and realized that the seats were extremely comfortable. And there was soooooo much more space than anticipated. And it was even cuter on the inside than the outside.
And we took it for a test drive.
And I fell in love.
Like, got 3 block and I was ready to take it home.
But, there was a 2007 Ford Escape that was at the lot that was a nice looking car for a cheaper price with less miles that was in a nice condition. And, even though I loved the Cube, I wanted to give the Escape a fair chance.
And I got 3 blocks and knew I wanted the Cube.
Keyless entry and Press a Button to Drive
So, we turned around and went back to the dealership…where I signed for the Nissan Cube.
And I am so glad that I did because it is an awesome car. It has so much storage space (you know, for all of my coworkers lol), it is tall and I don’t hit my head on the roof, and it is so much fun to drive! To be honest, I smile every time I drive it because it is so much fun.
So, yep. That’s my fabulous find for the week. It may not be super exciting for everyone, but I love it!
PS. There are lights that shine in the footwells. It comes in multiple colors, but these are some of my favorites!
I decided to do something a little different this week with my fashions. I pulled items out of my closet, I chose red, and decided to lay them out with all the accessories and take pictures of them. When I told Lauren about it, she told me, “Guess what? I did the same thing!” We hadn’t even talked about it before! I guess great minds DO think alike!! LOL!
I decided to go with red this time. I don’t have a lot of bright colors, but I was able to put a couple of things together. Most of these are great finds too!
This red dress came from Forever 21 in the clearance section two summers ago. I like the fit and flair style. I originally wore it for Christmas, but it works great other times too. I added a necklace and earrings and a wallet that Lauren was getting rid of and some strappy sandals from Goodwill, NWT from Target. A little dressy, but still casual for summer.
Most of this outfit is also from Goodwill. The red pants are from the Kardashian Kollection, but found at Goodwill, as was the top and the tote. The sandals were from a yard sale and I really don’t remember where the necklace came from. And always bring your puppy as an accessory!!
I love this striped skirt and have worn it with many different things throughout the years. I layered a red tank top under the lace top to get the pop of red without overdoing it. I bought the purse last year from Ross before going to Disneyland. I have had the copper flip-flops for so long I can’t even tell you where I got them! The owl necklace was from the 99 Cent Store. There are silver hoops there too, by the shoes, but you can hardly see them on the rug.
It was fun to put some ‘new’ outfits together. It helps me to use what I already own and not keep buying so many pieces I have nothing to go with! I hope to do a few more of these in other colors too. Do you enjoy putting outfits together too? Doing it ahead of time takes away the excuse,”I have nothing to wear!”
Hello! Welcome to another edition of Fabulous Finds and Fashions. A time where we show off the clothes that we have purchased and now have to figure out what to wear with it. Fun!
Alright, so the item on the docket today is this beautiful cover-up. Honestly, I have no idea what I would call the style of the jacket, but I really like it. I bought it when I was in 4-H for a Fashion Revue project and love how it fits and how it looks on me.
Unfortunately, I have only worn it with a single style of outfit.
I have always worn this with a white shirt and jeans. And, even though it’s cute and it looks good together, I really need to find other things to wear it with. So here are two different outfits that I found in my closet to pair with my jacket.
1. The Gold Skirt
I started off my closet raid by finding this gold J.Lo skirt that I bought on clearance from Kohls. I’ve always liked the skirt, but it can be difficult to find things to wear with it. I then added a brown tank top because all of my brown shirts either had design or weren’t the right style to add with the jacket. So, I went with a simple tank top. I then added a pair of brown American Eagle heels that I purchased from Payless. Overall, I thought the outfit looked really cute and I like how it looked in it.
Isn’t it cute together? I am glad that I found this outfit hiding out in my closet.
2. Blue and Khaki
I’ll start off with the shirt. I have had this shirt for forever! Like, since high school (okay, that was 5 years ago, but still). But, I pulled it out of my closet and liked the color under the jacket. I then added a pair of khaki shorts that I bought from Torrid that fit me really well and they are extremely comfortable. I added a pair of gold Vera Wang flip flops that I bought off season at Kohl for $5 and a gold headband.
Before I leave it here, I must say that I pulled off the boho headband better than I thought I would. All I had to do was pin my bangs back and I pulled it off swimmingly.
Thank you everyone for stopping by and I hope to see you all on Friday!
Hello! And welcome to another episode of Fabulous Finds and Fashions! I am here to bring you some unsolicited fashion advice and possibly a new fandom starting in our blog.
Okay, maybe not the latter, but I can always try!
Now if you read the blog very carefully, you may have noticed that I wrote episode instead of edition. It is for a very specific reason. You see, I am going to present you with a black tee shirt collection of shirts from a fandom that I belong to.
Markiplier.
All of these pictures can be viewed on Markplier’s Instagram: @markipliergram
Now, who is Markiplier? He is a YouTuber who I have been following for about a year and half now. He plays video games and does charity livestreams to raise money for some amazing causes. He dyed his hair pink when he raised over $200,000 for DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance), and has dyed his hair blue and red since then. He yells and screams and curses at a computer screen for many people’s enjoyment.
And he does this for over 12 million followers.
Yes, high fives for Markiplier and all of his followers.
So, since I have joined the fandom, I have acquired many four shirts and a sweatshirt that are all in support of him. And I am here to present them all to you!
The Original Logo
This was the first shirt that I received for Christmas. This is Mark’s logo and it came from the logo he made on his Minecraft character. The sweatshirt that I have has the same logo and both are so comfortable! It was purchased from Spreadshirt (click here if you want to visit the shop)
2. A gift from Haley
So, Haley found this shirt on Redbubble and couldn’t resist purchasing it for me as a HalloThanksMas gift (no, this isn’t an actual holiday). Unfortunately, it is very true…I would love to date Mark. Again, this shirt was purchased from Redbubble (click here if you wish to purchase this shirt)
3. Dogiplier
Mark and his friends designed this shirt to raise money for Best Friends Animal Society in Los Angeles. They designed this shirt, named Dogiplier, and a second shirt with cats, coincidentally named Catiplier. I think that the design on the front is absolutely adorable!
This shirt, along with the Catiplier shirt, can be purchased from 1Shirt (click here if you want this shirt)
4. I Don’t Need Therapy
This is the final shirt. It is extremely comfortable and actually being worn while I write this post (hehe). It came up in my Facebook feed that someone was selling these shirts, and I purchased one.
I really like the design and love how this came together. Props to the designer of the shirts. I purchased this shirt from TeeChip, but unfornately the shirt is unavailable for purchase.
Well, I hope you like my Markiplier collection and obsession (lol). I am adding some videos of Mark for you to watch if you are so inclined. Just a warning, there is language used that innocent ears shouldn’t hear.
This first video is about the horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s. Mark’s video became the go to when looking for gameplay of the game. This video alone, not even the full series, has over 46 million views! You can watch him play all four Five Nights at Freddy’s games on YouTube.
This next video was actually the first video of Mark that I ever watched. I was going through Matthias’s channel (that’s the other guy in the video) and saw this one. And I was hooked on the man with the deep sultry voice. This video is clean and okay for innocent ears to hear.
This final video is Mark and three of his friend, Bob, Wade, and Yamimash, playing a game called Prop Hunt. Two people are hunters and two people are props, meaning that they have to find a prop to disguise themselves as in the map. This is one of the funniest episodes that Mark has on his channel and I laugh everytime I watch it!
