Hello! Can you believe that it’s April already? Who knew that this year was going to fly by so quickly? It’s crazy! This blog post is a repost from August about closet. And I am still trying to organize my closet…I haven’t been very successful.

Now! I live in an apartment with a walk in closet, but it’s not very big or organized. So this week in looking for inspiration for myself, I thought I would share my favorites. Some of these are organization, some are awesome pictures, but all of them are just cool!

How to Get Yourself Organized

Hello! Before we get started, I must say that I feel completely unorganized while writing this post. I have been working (slaving) over decor for a potluck that my work is having and kind of forgot about this…sorry.

But next week you will see how I decorated!

So here are some helpful tips on how to get organized.

Apparently I am not the only one who has absolutely no idea how to fold a fitted sheet. Angela Says helps us all figure out how to properly fold that stupid sheet.

Man I wish that I had this much food in my fridge that it needed to be organized. My fridge is just random sodas and leftover pizza and milk. Lots of milk. I also traveled through about 5 separate blog posts and don’t know where this picture came from. Sorry.

Any yarn lovers out there like me? Here’s an old blog post from us about how to organize your yarn supply.

THIS IS LITERALLY IN MY DAD’S GARAGE! Mom saw this a while ago and showed my dad who built it. It’s awesome! Her Tool Belt gives you the full DIY on this cool project!

I really like this mail organizer. I would pick some different fabric than this, but DIY Projects tells us how we can make our own.

I wish this was my closet! It is so clean and organized and looks super nice. Just A Girl and Her Blog shows us how to organize our closets to make it perfect for us.

How cute is this bookshelf? it can totally help organize your books or other knick knacks to show off. Tara Michelle Interiors shows us how she built the perfect shelf for organizing.

I think this looks so pretty. And I have a bunch of nail polish that I don’t use, so this would be perfect! Also, the original source isn’t available anymore which is sad.

It’s a Pink Christmas!

Hello everyone! I hope you have all had a good week so far and I hope you are ready for the weekend.

If you haven’t been around the blog for too long, you may not know my obsession with pink. At one point I had pink in my hair, I have pink decor, pink pillow, even a small pink Christmas tree in my car that is there year round. But that’s not the only thing pink this year.

I HAVE MY VERY OWN CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!

This is the first year that I have a Christmas tree that’s full sized, not just a little itty bitty tree. I have my own space where I can decorate for Christmas however I want.

So, I decorated my tree in pink, black, and white! And here it is!

I absolutely love how my tree turned out! I have so many ornaments that fit perfectly for my tree. I purchased a lot from places like Walmart and Dollar Tree, but I had others from my parents house that I brought with me.

I also received some ornaments along with the garlands from Oriental Trading Company. I should’ve bought 2 of the black garlands, but I didn’t, so I ended up cutting it into three pieces to cover more of the tree. Also, I absolutely love the pink beaded garland! How good does it look on the tree?

And what about feathers? Yep, those came from Oriental. Pink and grey ostrich feathers are perfect for sticking between the branches and adding some fluff to the tree! Now if only the cats would stop going after them…

I also received some icicles, silver baubles, and white snowflakes to add more stuff to the tree. Now, I thought that I had a lot of ornaments, but these helped me fill the tree even more. They also made the tree the perfect tree!

I am so happy with how my tree turned out. I am in absolute love with it and it fits my personality perfectly. Now if only I can get my cats to stop messing with the gifts under the tree…
